Hey there friends! My name is Melisa. I am a California girl, who was living in New York City for the past few years, and am now back in sunny Southern California (Los Angeles).

I started Sparkle in Your Step as a way to document some of our New York City finds and experiences, and it has morphed into a fun cocktail of fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle. I am a fashion lover who believes that true beauty comes from within. But hey, a great dress or a fabulous statement necklace can’t hurt!

I believe in living life to the fullest. So, why not do so with a little extra sparkle in your step?!
