India: (PART IV) RANTHAMBHORE

Ranthambhore was our fourth and final stop while we were in India! Ranthambhore is one of the largest national parks in northern India. They are famous for the Bengal tigers that live here. There are numerous preservation efforts that are taking place to help protect these majestic, beautiful animals. We spent several days in Ranthambhore and we went on 3 safari trips in an effort to try to see some tigers. We unfortunately didn’t see any tigers but we did get to see some incredible landscapes and many beautiful animals. Throughout the trip we stayed at some beautiful hotels, but they weren’t extra luxurious or expensive. During the last leg of our trip, while in Ranthambhore however, we stayed at a gorgeous hotel! Gorgeous! The Oberoi Vanyavilas. I was in heaven! The justification was that since there wasn’t much else to do in Ranthambhore (aside from the cool safaris) that it was worth staying at a beautiful hotel 🙂
